Independent AI Research
Skindell Research
Skindell Research is the independent research program of Justin Skindell. The work focuses on Emergent Systems Architecture, identity-like behavioral organization, long-form coherence, and the broader design of interpretable AI systems.
Research Focus
Skindell Research studies how stable behavior, recognizable styles, and identity-like organization arise in stateless language-model interaction. The program combines empirical behavior mapping, systems framing, and design-oriented analysis to examine how these patterns form, stabilize, and transfer across sessions and model families.
- Emergent identity formation in AI systems
- Recursive stability and long-form coherence
- Governance patterns for multi-agent ecosystems
- Symbolic scaffolding and conceptual structures
- Architectures for interpretable and safe AI systems
Program Direction
ESA is the first formal publication in a broader research program. Future work will expand the vocabulary, methods, and practical tooling needed to study coherence, attractor formation, and structured role behavior across deployed AI systems.
